A second opinion
in every horse owner's pocket.
TroTrace exists because gait asymmetry — the most common early sign that a horse is starting to hurt — is hard to spot, easy to miss, and expensive to investigate the wrong way. Until now, only specialised veterinary clinics with motion-capture equipment could give you an objective second look. We built TroTrace so any owner can get the same screening from a phone.
What we believe
- ·Refuse to give a verdict on a video that can't support one. Better silence than a wrong answer.
- ·Show every signal. The vet can re-examine the math; we don't hide behind a black box.
- ·Plain language over jargon. The owner deserves to understand the verdict without a degree.
- ·Built on published biomechanics. Every verdict cross-references Keegan's MinDifference reference and our own asymmetry detector.
How it started
One horse, a missed asymmetry, three vet visits, no clear answer. The standard tools are iOS-only, English-only, and priced for established clinics. Across the UAE and the Gulf, that left thousands of horses without access to objective gait analysis.
So we built TroTrace. Cross-platform. Bilingual English and Arabic. Honest about its limits. Designed in Dubai for the way horses are kept here — and anywhere else.
What's next
Today: gait asymmetry screening at trot, on any phone, free during beta. Soon: a professional tier for vets. Then a camel mode for the GCC. Each step opens the same approach to a wider audience without lowering the standard.
